I came to this congregation to minister in December 1997.
How can I forget?
Our furniture was packed up on Monday and unpacked on Tuesday. I preached on Wednesday, Christmas Eve Night.
We embraced each other into our hearts
and together we became family ...
Our hearts touched that night.
I will never forget that night.
Through these past years of mountains and valleys of storms and calm
God has brought us closer,
You invited me into the intimate moments of your lives.
We have celebrated together through, preaching, teaching, singing, and table fellowship.
My, my, how many ways have God blessed us? Can you count the ways?
My, my, how many ways have God blessed others through this fellowship of believers?
God has blessed others through our many words of welcome, warm smiles and because of our gifts of time, talents and treasures.
God has showered us with love, mercy and grace to share. In God’s mercy, God has held back that which we do deserve and gave us what we do not deserve, God’s grace.
We could not buy it, win it or earn it. Yet God gave it to us.
I thank God for Jesus and the Holy Spirit
I thank God for you. I thank you for our celebration together.
We are pastor and people together.
We are the hand of God and through us God sows seeds of the gospel in words, works and wonder; …Making Christ Known…
